Peavey Foundation with Peavey HSC $200 plus shipping

Well, this one has been sitting around and needs someone to play it.

A white 4 string Foundation with RW fretboard. I have had it a couple of years. It plays really well. I had bought three Foundations at around the same time and ended up keeping only this one as it was the best player.

Of note:
-Very slight bit of surface rust on the bottom of the bridge.
-No rust on any of the screws. The others I had all had some.
-A few small nicks of paint missing here and there. In great shape for a bass of its age...
-Straplocks are on it.
-Missing one screw on the back cover plate.
-Peavey HSC

Here is one photo of the whole bass. There is a series of photos showing the whole thing here

I hope they're adequate. If not let me know.

I want to get $200 . Paypal preferred, I'll ship UPS.

One last chance before eBay. $200 shipped with hard case in CONUS. After that, it's eBay....

Great bass and great price. I know this is not a blog site, but can somebody tell me why these are not more appreciated? They are USA made, and are quite fine instruments. I have played a couple in the past. I own a 5 string foundation now just because it was on here for cheap. It gets precious little play. But it plays excellent and sounds great. I play MM 5 and have GAS for a NYC Sadowsky, but someone please tell me why these are cheap and direspected like some toy japanese pawn shop guitar.

this is definitely tempting - saw a band a couple weeks ago where the bassist was rocking a peavey..had a good sound!

Of course I have 3 basses right now, 1 I'm selling but the other 2 should cover my needs so that's why I can't deliver the $$$.

Few Reasons.. they were only like $225 when new.. they were sold as gig gear "keep your jbass at home".. there are tons of them out there... most are not setup well (destruction by the owners).. they've always kind of slipped under the radar.. it's just recently that made in USA is rare... just a few observations/opinions.

Hope this helps.

Killer deal and I wish I could take advantage of it but I'm waiting for a repair bill on my stepdaughter's car.

Good luck with the sale!
