Arrow PEAVEY FURY 1980's w/ OHSC ** Near Mint !! Best Pbass for the $

Sign in to disble this ad
OK fellow TB'ers - Here is a bass that Dr. Cheese, MNAirhead (Timmy), and Lanis should all chime in on soon...

It's a near mint (some buckle rash prevents "mint" status) 1980's vintage PEAVEY FURY bass with original hard shell case made in USA !

This bass is virtually untouched. There is even still a hint of plastic under a pickguard screw from when it was new.

I can't find a scratch anywhere on this bass other than the rear minimal buckle rash. It's like new.

All stock, original knobs, too !

Folks, Please don't take my word on this ; This is one of the BEST precision basses you will ever buy, play, or own. Buy it for a fraction of the price of a Fender. As Peavey fans know, we have always stood by our Peaveys and the test of time and tone speaks for itself. Feels like butter in your hands.

ONLY $300 PLUS shipping.

My first bass was a red one (exact same year) and WOW it was incredible. I'm REALLY tempted here... I have to ask... any trade interest?

Hi Robert ! Temp yourself no longer and pull the trigger. Keep your trade and realize how little time it takes you to earn the money to pay for this !

I just bought my 1st Peavey (Fury) from a T.B.er here a few weeks ago and blown away by the sound. It wipes the 2 Squiers (C.V. and Jazz 77) off the floor. So God now I want this. PMed you

I own pretty much the same Fury - white, with white pickguard, from the mid 80s- maybe a little bit more nics and scratches and the white has mellowed a bit over time. I definitely can confirm that it is one of the best P bass designs out there - especially if you are looking for a P with a Jazz neck.

Just a great bass that I am not concerned with throwing around - it's very solidly build and can take some abuse as well.

Good luck with the sale.

Laurie didn't I tell ya you'd get hooked on Peavey basses? Congratulations on scoring another Peavey . You did get it from a great guy as well. Mike is my bro and he does have some very cool basses. If u get a chance to score one of his Cirrus basses you will absolutely fall head over heals for them. Good luck w the Fury it's a Fender PBASS Killer. They r better than any Fender P you can put it up against IMHO.

LANIS

Well since buying his prized Peavey Cirrus it's ALL Maple we have become friends. We share a lot of the same ideas etc... about Peavey and other things bass related and unrelated. Mike is very cool to say the least. I am going to post a pic of his/my Cirrus.
The Cirrus is the best bass i will ever own and right next to it is the second best bass I will ever own bar none. The pic will definitely inspire Mike but he does want it back sometime in the future..
