Up for sale is a infamous MIA Peavey t40, aquired this bass to relieve some jazz tone hankering ive been having, but thats over lol.Anyways lets get to it, over all condition is great and is about 90% original,as u can see there is a missing peavey knob that i replaced with a precision barrel type, also one of the tuners have been replaced with a schechter type clover tuner.Serial number is 00464804 i havent found a way to really pin a year on it but the toaster pickups suggest its a early 80's model.

almost over the bad, as pictured there is a crack in the headstock just under the e string tuner, though it ends right where the hole where the tuning post is soo i can say there is a little chance of it going any further. It does not affect playability whatsoever from what i can attest.

Other than that this is a very playable and great sounding bass, the neck and frets are in good condition with little playwear, there are some nicks and dings on the body and neck, but nothing too bad, just used not abused. Pickups and electronics work great with both pickup switch and phase swittch intact, both tone knobs toil cap past 7 and are not scratchy at all.Bridge is in great condition with little pitting and holds the set up very well. Micro tilt function works great and has helped me get good action. I however do not have the peavey truss rod tool and haven't been able to adjust the neck. O yes and of course the weight, which is 10 pounds on my bathroom scale, which is about the weight of my stingray, but with triple the tones lol

Okay well i dont usually like to do trades but if u have what im looking for maybe we can make a deal.
Want Listt:
MIM Fender
Classic Vibe Jazz or 60's Precision,50's style ,
MIK Squier precision,jazz
Ibanez 500,ATK with maple neck
Sterling sb14 or 34 ,plus cash from me.
And of course 220 via paypal

For your consideration, heres a few threads about the t-40
