classy color.. the blacks and reds are more common..

I have a UnityLTD in this burst.. looks like furniture.. just colorful enough to stand out.. neutral enough to blend.

The pickups are the VFL like the Cirrus basses . I had one of these with those same pickups and and preamp and it sounded just killer. This bass is way prettier than the TL5 I had and I do miss the one I had . In fact I sold it to MNAirhead , he's pretty much a Peavey bass expert/collector . Too bad I don't have the funds , I'd love to have another one.

Awesome basses , good luck with your sale.

I don't know, and Peavey's web site doesn't have that info. I'll send an e-mail to them w/ the serial # and see if they can tell me.

Beautiful.
Much like Hollywars TL6
His TL5 is translucent black/purple. This one looks much better.
Unfortunately I can't justify giving it a new home this year.

Some one will get a very nice bass.
the Peavey forum (the Whammy bar and grill) may have a section on estimating manufacture date of bass from the serial number
