Peavey US Millennium 4 Pearl Black. A+ $435.00 shipped

Hate to see it go, but am quitting the live music scene for awhile, and don't need it. This was my 4-string backup for my Cirrus Maple. This is in absolutely mint condition. Like getting a new one. No chips, check out the head stock! Just beautiful pearl black finish. What caught my eye on it was the killer finish on the fretboard. I've never seen another one with this beautiful angled fretboard pattern. Really cool I think. Works 100%. I put strap lock buttons on it to use with my other straps, but can likely find the original black non-straplocks back on if you want. I'll ship it on my dime. Firm on the price. It's going on ebay as well shortly. Oh, includes peavey gig bag and I'll double-box it. I'm in Chicagoland in case you are wondering. Lower 48 UPS ground is what I'll cover. Thanks. I have a couple other pics if you need them. I had to upload the other photos somewhere else, here's the location: http://gallery.me.com/synter/100092

The fretboard looks cool! What is that? Is the pattern the woodgrain itself or does it have some kind of paint or stain on it? Pau ferro? Rosewood?

If I didn't already have a G-Bass with a Millennium preamp and a maple Cirrus V (which I'm still trying to sell), I'd be jumping on this!

No, it's the wood grain. Not sure what type of wood it is. But it's truly unique on a millennium. The angle is what I thought was cool.

Seriously, I used it a few times to play Sweet Child O Mine in Eflat tuning. Got tired of tuning down for one song and got this to go with my 5 string millenniums. We dropped the song, and it's been sitting here in it's bag. It's a very stealth looking bass.

Free bump for a darn fine bass. If I didn't already have a 4 string Milly, I'd have to get it!

However, if you decide to sell one of your 5 string Milly's, I'm looking. What colors are yours? I'd like to see as many as possible to see what colors I'd like them in.

Sorry to derail.....somebody buy this fine bass! 35" scale, HUGE sound, and one of the best neck/fingerboards I've ever played. They remind me of a USA Lakland I used to have, and cost 4 times as much as these.

These were pau ferro, I believe, which has some of the coolest grain out there. This one being one of the nicest I've seen!

Ha, already married, two kids too. I'm burned out on the cover band circuit. Chicagoland is extremely competitive for cover bands. Just tired of it. Time to move on to something else. I won't miss it much. $150 per gig was okay, but at some point you've got to decide if it's worth the hassle.

Bump from your non-identical twin. I have the same bass except for a maple FB and it is my #1. Paid more than your list price as a pretty shopworn New Old Stock about 4 years ago. Whoever buys this will have a great bass at a fine price.

Probably is! I hate to part with it, but 4 basses is just too many for me. Since I have to play 5 strings to cover all the various drop tunings I encounter in our sets, anything with 4 strings has been sitting around. If it had a maple neck, I'd probably sell my Cirrus!

It is slightly metallic. Up close pearl black gas a metallic look. But from a distance it's gloss black. I believe it's johnnymacs but I don't know for sure.

I'm pretty sure its the same bass I sold you a few months back. The metal flakes are small and only really visible up close. I think it looked more metallic in the pictures I took due to being closer and because of my camera's flash.
