Peavey USA Cirrus 5 St - Updated for Trade!

Sign in to disble this ad
Sold.....

$800 - or offers? I need to sell this thing....... No trades at this time....
Nice USA Cirrus, flame maple - You folks are already familiar with the Cirrus, so pls take a look at the pics. DOB 2004 - includes non-original hard case.
Will Ship to lower 48.......

All perfect except for the headstock. The Carbon Graphite overlay started to separate, and has been repaired with black epoxy. It will never start to separate again, but, it is noticeable. Of course, it does not effect sound or stability of the bass.

Email if you have further questions!

Cheers!

Very nice, I have the 6 string equivalent. Great price and good luck. Should not last long.

Hey,
The string spacing is .35, and I'm honestly not sure about the fretboard - to me, it looks like p.f.

Thanks!

As far as I know, the only fretboard woods available on the USA Cirrus are ebony, pau ferro, maple and wenge (bolt-on Cirrus). So, that is most likely pau ferro. Someone is going to get an awesome bass!!! The Cirrus is no joke!

Thanks widefat & bottomzone. I think p.u. is a likely suspect. But .35 - do you mean 35" scale ?

Do you know the string spacing at the bridge (from string to string) ?

Thanks

.35 is the string spacing at the nut -
At the bridge, it's
B-E - .68
E-A - .65
A-D - .68
D-G - .68

The string spacing can be adjusted at the bridge - each string bridge can be adjusted about .2" left to right.

Thanks!

a couple of additional pics:

Beautiful bass and a KILLER price. I have the fretless (custom shop) version of this bass as well as 3 other USA Cirrus 5-ers. They are awesome, fast necks with great upper access and the closest thing available to Ken Smith tone at a fraction of the $.

The pic of the board does indeed look like rosewood, and some Cirrus' do in fact have rosewood boards; I should know, I got one on eBay thinking that it was ebony because the board was so dark in the pix and PEAVEY did not advertise rosewood boards, never-the-less, mine has a rosewood board. I prefer ebony, but I love the bass just the same.

In answer to an above question: Standard spacing for a USA Cirrus is 17.5
