Pedulla MVP Blue w/New Pedulla Hardcase, (player's/cheap)

Sign in to disble this ad
A couple of the knobs have been changed and there is plenty of wear including a slice through the paint on the back of the neck. Controls are volume, volume, boost volume, stacked treble/bass and 3-way pickup selector. The case is new.

Plays quickly and easily (incredible slapper) and everything adjust perfectly on it including the truss..always impressed by Pedulla's truss rods.

It's a mid 1988 serial which places it when production was just done by Pedulla, he hired some people soon afterwards and increased production, and then eventually went back to just making them himself.

See last post (or roundabouts) for price
NO TRADES (unless local)

More pics soon

I've always wanted to own a Pedulla... never played one though, guess it was mostly from the rep. Good deal though, too bad I'm not ready to buy one yet. :\
Nice looking bass.

I owned an MVP almost identical to this one. (1987) I am not sure of the spacing at the bridge but the schaller bridge allows you to easily move the strings from left to right, to make it narrower or wider.
P.S. very nice clear solid mid tone from these basses.

"All of our 4-string basses are 19mm (.750”). This measurement is taken from string center to string center at the bridge saddles."

The bridge is easily adjustable for changing the spacing, just roll the seat, as opposed to using a hex key or whatever.

1.5", Jazz spacing at the nut.

No thanks on the Fender. Just added some new pics, also the washer on one of the tuners is silver and not black.

I have one of these in maple. They are amazing players and honestly I am tempted to pick this one up too as the price is unbelievable!

I was playing it for a while yesterday, it outplays my Monarch but isn't quite as fast as the BT Custom G I had (very close though). Neck through is the way to go if you want to play really fast. Granted, I haven't tried a set neck Monarch yet. It's a shame P/J isn't my thing, and I love Bart's. Of course it's an even bigger shame that Smith pickups weren't my bag either. I always go with tone over playability and the Pope/Fodera combo is killer, and of course that bass plays quite nicely as well.

Who wants some random noodling?

So this is running through a Shuttle 6.0 and Schroeder 12+L with everything set on flat including the bass EQ. It's very sterile this way since I realized that demoing with my Eden VT-300C and Epifani UL212 was a bit of a tone bias.

Sorry for the lack of musical content, I was just thinking move around the fingerboard while playing. I'm surprised at how "P" the "P" gets...crazy.
