F/S - Pedulla ThunderBass 5 - **Free Shipping**

Sign in to disble this ad
M.V. Pedulla Thunderbass $1,300 to continental US - free shipping.

I love this bass, but I have 2 other Pedullas and an MTD so this darling needs a new home. I'm not a collector.

There's a nice scratch on the back from the previous owner. Never been an issue for me (see photos). Another scratch by the volume knob and finish crack around volume knob - again from previous and not an issue to me. It's not mint condition as it has been PLAYED with great enthusiasm!

I've owned it for about 5 years. Listed as a 1996 model, and has 17.5mm string spacing. Neck is thin and fast.

Comes with Pedulla hardshell case.

Please note this is NOT the more inexpensive Thunder Bolt model with a bolt on neck and different hardware.

PayPal preferred. Will consider trades for $1,300 cash only.

edit: price

Wow, that thing is the BOMB. I'm not a collector either, but I might become one for that.

very nice, and very tempting, but I'll find myself sleeping on the front porch if I bring home another one. I actaully prefer the older 3-knob preamp over the newer 4-knob (more raw growl IMO).

Some more detail from the Pedulla website:

"The "Thunderguts" switchable circuit accesses the thicker and darker low mid growl while maintaining the Thunderbass signature punch. The result is maximum tonal versatility with minimum control panel clutter.
M.V. Pedulla's Thunderbass is offered in two styles, the T and the ET. Both are available in 4, 5, 6, and 8-string models, all with neck -through-body design, rich plated hardware (gold, black, or chrome), an ebony fingerboard, Bartolini pickups with our Thunderbass proprietary active circuitry.
The T features a rigid three-piece neck of quartersawn maple flanked by two pieces of AA, AAA, or 5A Eastern curly maple, finished in lustrous polyester."

bass for sale

Do you still have the bass? I would be willing to do cash, but are you interested in a trade for a '74 Fender P?

Rest assured the headstock has not been repaired (nor ever broken in the first place )

The finish is very rich and deep and therefore catches light different in every photo taken depending on the angle of the light source.

U funny. I still have my 6 string Thunderbass and you'll have to pry that one from my cold dead fingers. Then maybe I'll change names.

In the title it says "no shipping" and in the description it says "free shipping". Is "no shipping" supposed to mean "no added cost to ship"? You might get some more bites if you change the title to say "free shipping". Great looking bass BTW!
