PEDULLA Thunderbolt 5 string TEAL/Gold. MINT

Sign in to disble this ad
I am selling my Pedulla Thunderbolt 5 string. Sexy TEAL color (I have seen it listed also as Peacock---you get the idea). It was born in 2000 and has the famous THUNDERGUTS circuit plus the Bartolini TBT center detent tone controls. (19mm, by the way).

I tried to capture the accurate color, but this one is difficult. In different lighting it will look more blue….other lighting more turquoise. Also, it might look accurate on my computer screen and not the same on yours. (gotta love technology)
It is as close to MINT as you can get. If you REALLY look closely, there is a little bit of surface swirl in the area beneath the G string, but someone with the correct polish and method could buff it to brand new look. You can not see this unless you get 2” from your face with it, but I believe in full disclosure.
There are no scratches, chips, etc… and the bass really could be hanging up for sale in a bass shop and sold as new. The bass plays so easy and sounds great. I just have too many basses with Barts in them and just bought a couple of new basses thanks to our fellow TB’ers. So, now it is my turn to sell.
The original Pedulla hard case is in excellent condition with one chip that does go through the tolex but not into the interior of the case. All latches work fine, etc.
I will sell it for $1500 delivered to you in the conus via ground UPS. (I will pay shipping). The bass has a new set of Pedulla strings and I will include another set still in it’s package.

$1500 delivered

The 3rd Screw on the back cavity plate

I totally spaced-out on putting that in the description and will add that now.

The 3rd screw on the cavity cover was missing when I got it. The screw hole (that holds the screw on the inside of the cavity) is chipped. This is the way I got the bass and it is not needed to hold the plate tightlly. It can be fixed by inserting and gluing a wooden toothpick and then re-drilling a hole. However, I never gave it much thought because the back plate stays on tightly.

I do not have the 3rd screw.....sorry. OF COURSE, this does not affect the bass Received a PM asking about it

ALSO includes the Pedulla truss tools, etc

To answer another question.....it does include the PEDULLA wrenches (for truss rod and bridge adjustment), the instruction book in the original plastic bag.

The other thing is, if we want to be nit picky, is that this is not a Thunderbass but a Thunderbolt. Love the bass, I just traded a 4 string version in Peacock blue with black hardware, loved the bass and I wish that I had not let if go! Anyway, if I played fivers I would be all over this thing!

SOLD...pending receipt of payment

Our fellow TB'er in CA will be getting this beauty and I am sure he will be thrilled with it. Even including an extra set of PEDULLA strings (besides the new set that is on the bass).

Thanks, KSF_bass
