Pete Hilton Bass at a steal

Sign in to disble this ad
Up for grabs is this beautiful 5 String Hilton Bass. If you don't know who Pete Hilton is, he is the head builder for the world renowned Luthier Carl Thompson. This bass plays like a dream, sounds incredible, and looks exquisite. Body is a combination of bloodwood, mahagony, and curly maple. Neck is mahagony, with mac ebony fingerboard, and bloodwood and flamed maple veneers. Headstock is Mahagony, flamed maple and bloodwood. All around this is one hell of a bass. The only reason I am selling it, is because I am a 4 string kinda guy. 4000 obo. Here is a video of one of my Hilton basses, so you can hear how amazing these basses play. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2zl77JiJKI

This looks a lot better than a lot of the Carl Thompsons I've seen.

I'm honestly shocked that this bass is still for sale, especially at this price. Hilton instruments are only going to get more expensive as he becomes more and more popular. Wish I had the cash to take it off your hands.

Hey Jonah! I am just as shocked as you are. This is a very amazing bass. If it wasn't for the fact that I am wanting a 4 string Hilton, on accounts of preference, you wouldn't be able to pry this bass outta my hands. I am just more comfortable on a 4 string. I have small hands, so that being said, I more suited on 4 strings. Please someone help by buying this bass. I am a really honest and dedicated musician, and I need help getting a new 4 string.
