Phillips custom 4 string Bass Superlight Beauty

Im selling my Phillips bass it is a custom bass made by Ohio luthier Kraig Phillips 34" scale 5A flame top w macthing headstock front and back, mahogany body, three piece maple neck with a beautiful Fodera style dovetail neck joint. Birdseye multi laminate maple board ebony knobs bartolini jazz pickups and bartolini pre-amp.
Schaller bridge and straplocks gotoh tuners Weighs less than 8 lbs. Very versatile sounds w a surprising low end booming!
$800 + shipping ships in gator lightweight case case is beat up but functional

How would you describe the neck profile in terms of Jazz, PBass, MM Stingray? Were you going for a particular thing in that regard? Perhaps Fodera being that cosmetically it has that vibe...

It looks to be how the Phillips Bulldog bass is designed ... very Fodera-esque ... right down to the set-neck.

I have a 5 String Phillips Bulldog bass. While it is the imported version, it's still a great bass.

I can only imagine how a handmade Phillips plays and sounds. :love:

The contoured set neck is to die for.

That is a Beautiful Bass you have there! I'm pretty much a traditional "J" & "P" guy but, if I had the cash on hand, that bass would be mine based on looks alone....simple but simply gorgeous.
