Pre-gibson Tobias Fretless 5 - gorgeous!

I reserve the right to change my mind on this, but I have a chance to pick up a fretless Zon TJ, about the only thing that could bump this bass from my stable.

Walnut/Purpleheart Tobias Classic, #1948.
Immaculate condition - the absence of dings and scratches is amazing. This is the cleanest pre-Gibson Tobias I've ever seen.

Pau-fero fingerboard
17mm spacing
34" scale
Low B sounds like thunder.
Walnut/purpleheart neck
Walnut wings
Purpleheart top

Drop dead gorgeous, sweet sounding bass.
$3300 shipped.

More pics available by email.

If anyone asks why your pups have writing on them, I just sold a pre-gib with 'bartolini' written on them as well, Mike T said there were actually a bit of them.

Just saying, I had all sorts of people saying they weren't the original pups, you might run into that. Very nice bass!

The madness has passed, my fever has receded, and this one is staying with me.
