Price Drop! FS/FT:2006 Fender Jazz 24-Cherry Burst

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello All. Up for sale or trade is my Beautiful Fender Jazz 24 in Cherry Burst. Near perfect condition, except for a small nick in the lower body of the bass. I upgraded the preamp to an aguilar obp-3.
The bass really kicks some butt. The only reason I'm selling it is because I have way too many Jazz Basses. I looking for a bass with soapbars, dual coils, something, that doesn't sound like a single coil jazz. A Lakland 4401 would be perfect. I'm asking $550.00 /$475.00 OBO+Shipping. Photo's of the bass can be viewed @:

Thanks for looking..

The bass weighs 8.8 pounds, and the nut width is about 1.5 inches.. Hope that helps.

@KeithPas: Yes.. I have one killer 5 string, and only use it for recording. I've had every top of the line 5 string made, and sold them all. There was always something not quite right with all of them.. Tobias, Groove Shoppe, Modulus, FBass, Lakland, Fender, etc... All Gone. Right now I have a Lakland Darryl Jones 5, with a Audere Preamp, and this thing is sick. Finally got a good one.. Thanks.

Okay - The Weight is GOOD!

Now I need the THICKNESS of the neck at the first fret.
not the WIDTH at the nut - How thick is the neck from the back of it to the top of the first fret?

RATS !! That's what I've got already on my Jazzes.
I was hoping for thinner. I sure hate to pass up this beauty and at this sweet price too.

Somebody's gonna be getting a great deal.

Thanks a lot for measuring and all. I really appreciate it and wish you all the best.

Any interest in a Rockbass Warwick Double Buck or a Schecter Diamond Custom P?

I'd can add cash or might trade both.

@BillyIVbass: Thanks for the offer, but I'm really looking for a Soap Bar type bass. Something like a MTD Z4 or Lakland 4401. Thanks again..

For your sake I hope it does not either. Cannot believe this is still here. Consider this a "wish I had money" bump.
