PRICE DROP: Schecter Stiletto Studio 5 - $369 with hard case

Sign in to disble this ad
Price drop! $369 + shipping with a roadrunner hardshell case!

I'm off work today (18 FEB) and tomorrow (19 FEB) so I can get this shipped almost as soon as payment is received. I ship FedEX with insurance and tracking numbers provided.

I am not looking for any trades at this time.

This is a great playing bass with my favorite features being the tighter string spacing and buttery smooth neck. I love the tone and have found it to be very versatile as I have gigged it with a classic rock cover band and a modern hard rock band.

It is currently strung with D’Addario Chromes (not pictured). These flatwound strings really take the bite folks complain about out of the EMG HZs. The tension on chromes is in the middle on my flatwound scale with TI flats being low tension and fender flats being high tension.

I’m not sure if you all would see this as a positive or negative, but I need to throw it out there. I am the original owner of this bass – I purchased it from GC in 2008 and can provide the sales receipt. A couple months ago I noticed that the bass control really did not do anything. It wasn’t a big deal to me since I didn’t use it much anyway. Then, I noticed that the bridge pickup volume was very low.

Fast forward to December 2009 and I contact Schecter to see if this is covered under warranty and it was! They have a lifetime warranty and did not even ask for my sales receipt. I shipped the bass to them and they replaced the preamp, input jack, and blend pot. Now there are no issues with the electronics. I will provide the documentation from Schecter to the buyer.

The condition of the bass is very good – no significant nicks or scratches. The only problem that I see is that the gold in the bridge and tuners is fading. I have made my best attempt to capture this in the pictures.
