These are great, I've owned two of em. sold them for the same reason, like Morris , I just like the passive thing. This is a ridiculously cheap price and Morris is first rate. If one likes the active jazz sound this beauty is a real sleeper. Rivals any super-jazz I've played.

More pms answered. In answer to your questions:

Neck joint is tight, back of bass is as nice as front, frets show no significant wear, truss works fine. I will post more pics tonight. There are no surprises here. Check my feedback. The price is too good to be true but IS true. Kindly refrain from offering less; the price is already lower than fair and I'd rather reduce the bass to sawdust and sprinkle it on my cornflakes than sell it for less.

I have a friend who plays rock on one of these. It is one of the best sounding basses I've ever heard. He has no problem getting a classic tone from his. I've played it, several times. What a wonderful bass! This bass is priced more than reasonably. If I had the cash, I'd buy it without hesitation. Someone needs to jump on this thing!
