Quad's Old LeCompte ST-5 FS/FT feeler

This thing is a beauty, I love it. But I really haven't been playing it, and I think it's because it's a fiver. I've just been playing 4-strings almost exclusively. Here are the specs.

LeCompte ST-5 electric bass, serial #6.
Handmade in the USA.
Features
• Two piece ash body
• Walnut top w/ flush inlayed spalted elm faux pickguard
• Three piece ash and maple neck
• Dual action truss rod
• Macassar ebony fingerboard
• Medium jumbo frets
• Bone nut, 1 7/8 inches wide
• Gotoh tuners
• ABM bridge, 18mm spacing
• Chrome metal knobs
• Bartolini 72M55C soapbar pickups
• Aguilar OBP-2 pre-amp w/coil splitter switches
• Treble and bass stacked knob, blend knob , volume knob with passive switch (pull the volume knob for passive)
• Spalted elm and walnut pickup covers
• Separate battery box
• Body finish - hand rubbed catalyzed lacquer
• Neck finish - satin polyurethane finish
• 35" scale length

This thing plays amazingly. I have no complaints other than it has an extra string. I'm in no rush to get rid of this, and I'll upload some pics in a little.

Dude, if I were still playing 5 bangers, I'd be ALL over this as I was the original owner. Miss her, but if I bought her back, I'd never play her.

She's one fine, fine bass. The new owner will not be sorry. Brings a tear to my eye!

she weighs 10.5lbs according to the bathroom scale, so that's plus or minus a few .1's of a pound since the scale only goes to half pounds or full pounds.
