Rare 1992 G&L L5000

Sign in to disble this ad
Great condition G&L L5000 5 string bass. This is an American made G&L, and Leo Fender's last designed bass. These baby's are very rare and hard to come by. The color is a nice white with black pickguard. The only major damage on the finish is a little spot on the front where the white turned a light red from the case. Other than that, great condition for a almost 20 year old bass. The pickups in the bass are amazing! They are custom Leo Fender designed p bass pickups that really sing. The bass comes with a vintage fender hard case. Asking $950 plus shipping.

These are awesome, I refer to them as the worlds best 5 string P Bass.

headstock

I used to have a Carvin bass with a headstock quite similar to this one - my lap steel player made me get rid of it after catching him in the head one too many times with that pointy thing. Only rounded headstocks these days to keep the peace.

I agree, I like it much better than regular 5 string p basses, but I'm not playing 5ers anymore.

Can you tell me how straight the neck is? How is the fret wear? How much does it weigh? Thanks, Nat

My school has photobucket blocked, any chance you could upload some as attachments here on TB?
