Sign in to disble this ad
Sigh. Sob. Woe is me. I have to sell my beautiful Carl Thompson Rainbow Bass. # 7295. Flamed Maple, Padauk, and Rosewood. Schaller bridge, a custom 7th fret inlay (an Ebony ring with a single Maple birds eye in the center), and a 45-DC pickup. Even more rare in that it has the electronics cover on the front instead of the back, like in the old 70's style basses. Plays like a charm with the biggest Fender P bass tone you have ever heard. 36" scale and comes with $500 authentic original Reunion Blues gig bag included. Won't last long. It takes more than 3 years to get a Carl Thompson now. Please contact me with any questions or for more pictures. If you are in the Allentown PA or Rochester NY areas you can play it first before buying. You won't want to put it down. Asking only $3500 with free shipping. I can accept cash or check. Please, not looking for trades right now.
Lots of pictures at www.sowdercom.com/gear.htm
Thanks

Thanks! |

| | | | Hi guys,
I keep getting asked the same questions on this gear.
I AM negotiable to a degree.
The shipping is FREE and included.
I AM NOT looking for trades of any kind.
The last chance to buy is Tuesday the 30th before I move again and these go to family at a discount or to a bass consignment shop for a higher price.
I think that covers it. Thanks again for looking. |

| | | | Quick question, the first picture of this bass shows what looks to be 4 control knobs, but then in the other pictures it shows only 2 control knobs. Just wondering which one is actually the bass for sale.
Thanks |

| | | | Sorry for the confusion. I threw a lot of pics up on that one page in a hurry. I've fixed it.
Thanks |

Thanks | So do you have another CT rainbow bass?
I liked the other one better TBH, I've always liked the look and feel of CT basses but I prefer more tonal options than his standard Volume/Tone electronics. If you got that other one for sale hit me up. |

I'm confused: is this serial for this CT bass? |

I'm confused: is this serial for this CT bass? | Yes it's the same bass. In fact if you read the description with that very picture on ctbasses.com it mentions the update of the electronics, bridge, and inlay!
This is SOLD! Thanks for looking gents. |
