I recently purchased another bass that had the same string spacing as my regular Peavey TL-5. (We switch instruments many times during a gig due to drop D tuning on some songs and the close string spacing on the Ibanez was hard to compensate for when switching for a few minutes)
I have used this bass for about 6 months now on gigs and really like the sound and feel of the instrument. The bartolini pickups and electronics are impossible to beat, and the slim neck is great for playing. I had a windstorm knock over the bass at an outside gig and it broke one of the knobs and put a small chip near the upper strap (hardly noticeable) I then made Tiger Eye stone knobs for the bass and get nothing but compliments on these ($125.00 modification). (I will include the four original knobs with the sale)
The bass lists at MSRP: $1,066.65, and discounts at the major music stores for 799.00. This is the limited edition with the Burl top and you cannot even find it on ebay at all!
