Free bump for a great deal.

On this bass I would swap in a Nordstrand mm4.2 pickup, replace the preamp with a passive tone pot, and cap the spare hole on the body (or not!)

In fact... tell me why I shouldn't do that.

More bumpage for a great deal. I have the same era 5 string TBC. Plays good, sounds killer and looks incredible.

It still looks the same - do you recognize copy from your ad as well? I couldn't have said it better myself, so I didn't.

How does it play compared to real Stingrays?

It feels great. IMO the quality is right up there with U.S. made EBMM and Fenders. The neck is slim - 1.5" nut and a pretty flat fingerboard radius - makes for easy fast playing. More Fender Jazz like in feel than a stingray or closer to a Sterling

Maybe I misread. Where was she made?

Also, can you tell me a little about TBC basses? Never really heard of them

Thanks!
