Also, can you tell me a little about TBC basses? Never really heard of them

Thanks!
It was made in the U.S. You can see in the "Handcrafted in the U.S.A." logo in the rear headstock pic above. The bass for sale here retailed for over a grand when it was new. TBC started out making basses in the U.S. in the early 90's and then moved their operations overseas in the early 2000's. The newer ones look a lot different. There are a few threads about them in the forums here.

Sound is close to a stingray. I'd say it has a more organic sound closer to older stingray's - less of that ever present electronic zing/twang that you hear in the newer ones.

Wow! I have a USA TBC custom 210 cabinet. I use it with a Peavey Delta Bass amp for my studio/practice amp.
When in USA they made some really nice gear. I guess I've had it over 10 yrs now, dont quite remember.
Good luck with the sale. I'd snatch it up in a minute if someone would buy my Fender/CYR hybrid jazz.

Are you up trades? I've got alot of stuff and parts. Nice J-bass I just finished, 70's Dimarzio pups, fender, gotoh, pots, preamps, ect.
Lets work a deal. I've had the GAS for a TBC Stinger since I got my cabinet and saw what else they were making.

Thanks but I need cash to beat down some lingering credit card debt.

Free bump for a great underrated bass. Wish I had the $$ needed to bring this baby here. Good luck!
