REDUCED! 1984 Fender JV 1962 Reissue Precision Bass Candy Apple Red

This all original P Bass is a wonderful keeper... but finances require the sale of a few choice pieces. This is one of the later Japanese Vintage models, in fact I've never seen a higher JV serial. Pretty lightweight at 9 lb. and Candy Apple Red! Every bass that passes through my hands gets a professional set up: Action is super low, plays perfectly with no fretting out. I was checking out the flats vibe with LaBella Deep Talkin' Flats but will string with rounds if the buyer prefers.

JV models are rare and increasing in value, here is an opportunity to grab a nice one for well south of $1k!

I'm still waffling about whether I can let this one go but a cash crunch forces me to offer it...

Since the photos were taken I've added an aluminum grounding shield (under the full pickguard) and a metal pickup cover. Both OEM Fender parts. I really like a pickup cover on a P Bass. I'll take a new pic later......
