PM me for details.

Includes extra brass SB bridge which is worth about a C note on it's own. (Bass currently sports a silver bridge).

$525 shipped. Low for quick sale. Losing alot of money on this at this price. But, I need to move some things quick to pay for my Son's ongoing autism treatment, which is terribly expensive.

Sorry, this is an original 1980 SB. Not a reissue. Although the electronics have been updated with some from the reissue series. The originals were missing when I purchased the bass. Sounds just like the old stuff.

FYI,

The replacement pickup and electroncis is an Aria Pro II pickup and circuit ordered directly from Aria USA. The same setup used on their new reissues.

All knobs and switches work fine. The only minor problem, is in the standard mode,(two modes with the two way switch, one for just volume/tone, the other for utilizing the big multi position tone switch) the volume will not quite turn down all the way in standard mode. In the mode that allows the multi position switch to be utilized, the volume turns down just fine. This is the mode where 95% of players who use SB's play anyway. So, not a big deal.

I was told that the volume pot that will not turn all the way down in standard mode is likely due to one failed part on the circuit board. (resistor, capacitor). But, an entire circuit for an SB1000 from Aria USA (excluding the pickup) is only $65, and that includes the preamp, all pots, switches, etc.

Order that, Connect four wires, and that volume knob problem goes away.

Sending this to ebay at about midnight.

It's a great bass, and a super deal. Search the internet, you will not find a vintage SB1K for double that price.
