SOLD !! Mid 80's Aria Pro II ZZB Custom with Broken Wing

SOLD !! ----- SOLD !! ----- SOLD !! ----- SOLD !!

I've had this mid 80's Aria Pro II ZZB Custom bass (with the original hard case) since around 1998. Last July 4th, after a gig, I arrived home with my equipment, and opened the bass case to clean the fingerprints and sweat off the bass....and look what I discovered !! (Please access Before & After photos, below). The bass side wing was cleanly broken off !! I did NOT drop the bass or bump it against anything....the wing section simply broke off inside the case. There are NO bumps or gashes in the body or finish...the wing just cleanly snapped off INSIDE the case (while riding on a cushioned seat, too). I cannot find a luthier, woodworker, or even a furnature repairman (after all, it IS wood), locally, willing to glue the wing back on....and I don't have clamps large enough to do the job properly, so I am selling her. Besides the 2 photos below, I have several more that I will gladly send you, if you will please email me at the address, below. The original case is well road-worn, but all the hinges and latches operate as they should.
Except for the body wound, the bass is in Great condition, sounding thunderous and playing beautifully, with all electronics working properly. Included in the sale is a set of Gold Schaller tuners I purchased ($95.99), but never had the time to install.
Because of the repair needed, I am asking only $90.00 plus $60.00 UPS insured shipping (Inside the CONTINENTAL United States ONLY. Sorry Alaska, Hawaii, and the rest of the world). I realize that seems like a high shipping amount, but it's been the average I've paid to ship guitars / basses out of Arizona. I will send you the shipping receipt, showing the actual amount paid....if it's less that $60.00, I will refund the difference, and if it's more, I will eat the difference.
Any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me at the email address below.
Thank you very much for viewing this ad.
