Sign in to disble this ad
So I Sold this bass to a friend of mine in March, still waiting for him to pay me and take delivery, I think 6 months is long enough to wait, so back up for sale it goes...

Original sale post:
John Myung signature Yamaha RBX 6JM Fretless.

originally asking $350 shipped in the Continental US, sold it to him for $300 "Shipped", meaning he was going to pick up in Vegas when he was here...

SO, Split the difference, Asking $325 shipped in the Continental US.

I could be wrong, as I am no yammy expert, but this seems like a really decent price. Nice bass.

I think it is a great price, I paid $350, cleaned it up with new strings, but I have a hard time asking for more than I paid for it.

Thanks, Chris.

I guess I don't know how to tell, I would imagine since the frets were just taken out, it still has the radius, it has the original fretboard with the inlays so I would say Radius.

okk, the question is because some luthiers take off the frets, and in most cases brush the fretboard taking out wood, and affecting the fretboard radius or curvature, if you look at the fretboard from the bridge to the tuning machines, you can see a light curvature from left to right , if your luthier didnīt brush the wood it has to be OK, all because would be interesting refret the bass, thank you

I will look tonight To make sure, but I think it looks like an amateur defret job, so I would imagine nothing was done except to pull out the frets and put in same putty, but I will take a look tonight to be sure.

from what I can tell by my eye, looks like the radius is still normal.
