Hey y'all-this is a fantastic playing bass. Incredible stingray tone and really dynamic EQ(which is 3-band). This bass is from the second year of manufacture of the 5 strings. She's a players bass-lots of nicks and scuffs here and there, nothing too serious at all. Just normal player wear, and for good reason-this bass kills and the low B is the best i've ever played (who says u need a 35" scale?). I've used it on one week long tour and it sounded incredible every night. It's heavy, looks like the body may be one solid piece of ash, and it's around the 12 lb mark. My Sadowsky neo-tech strap definitely helped while gigging with this beast. The finish is very hard to photograph but it's a very subtle blue/teal translucent burst. Definitely some shades of aquamarine/green in there and darker blue edges. Everything is stock right now. Strings are an older set of nickels with a very fat b-string. I am about to have the board and electronics in for a cleaning by my local luthier. I am in a bind financially right now and unfortunately have more use of my 4 strings than this baby. I will do $975 shipped in a semi-hard gigbag and well-packed box. Please, I am not interested in trades at this time. It will be available in a couple days-my luthier has a busy schedule and i want everything nice and clean for the next owner.
