This is a re-post as the last trade I had done fell through. I just never really seem to need a fifth string, and it isn't quite the sound I'm looking for. I'm just looking at trades at the moment, but since I have to list a price $975. This is a great way to try a Dingwall without spending a fortune. It comes with the locking hard shell case in the pictures.
It has two small dings, as shown in the pictures. One near the bridge, the other on the back of the upper horn. Neither are very noticeable. Other than that it's in perfect condition.
The fanned frets aren't much of a problem, I hardly noticed when I picked it up the first time. Its a really great sounding bass for the price point. It's also a lightweight bass, about 8 lbs which is pretty good for a fiver. It's much much lighter than the four string squire VMJ that I have.
It looks great in person, I have gotten lots of complements on the looks of the bass since I got it.
I'm not entirely sure what I am looking to trade for. I would prefer a four string if at all possible, but will consider other fives. I know that I definitely want something that has a pickup in the neck position, as that's where I primarily play at. Some things I have been looking at are, Laklands, G and L's, Fender, Music Man, but anything will do.
I want something with a pretty quick neck. I am looking for a deep, full, heavy, tone. With some warmth to it, but still capable of more aggressive sounds.
Anyway, here's pics, sorry for the bad lighting.

Thanks for looking.
