I've been calling it the "Bluefish"
Excellent condition other than the usual discoloration around the white binding. No fretwear. It has a small dent in the back of the neck that I never noticed while playing. Low action, no buzz. The older skunkstripe neck feels wonderful and all but plays itself. The back of the body is blue just like the front. Overall a VERY clean, older Rumblefish. Includes the OHSC that's in VERY good condition as well along with a blank warantee sheet and Reverend sticker.
$900 firm plus shipping. Paypal ONLY. NO Trades, I have too many basses, gotta make room

On the Fish you have that metal trim thingy which is much more rounded than the edge of the body. I never noticed any unusual feeling or any discomfort on my forearm.
By the way, the weight on my digi fish scale is 8.57lbs.

I've never had that problem in the slightest with a fish, due to the banjo guard (metal thingy), which is plenty comfy, IMO. But it is only there in the normal spot where your forearm typically rests -- if your forearm is resting somewhere different where the metal guard is NOT there, it would not be comfy.
Wish I could snap this one up, but I've got a Will Lee coming due in a couple months, and have to save for that.
Such a tasty fish, too.
Bump for some other lucky soul.

I would decribe the pickups as being "hotter" that typical Jazz pups. It has more of a growl that's accented by the semi hollow body PUNCH and other subtle tones from unique materials that it's made from. I would read through the Reverend Club threads and try to find opinions and soundclips. Maybe more Jazz friendly players will weigh in here. I'm MUCH more of a P Bass player.

This is a steal. Someone needs to jump on this, pronto. You will not regret it. I've got the twin of this bass, a few serial numbers earlier, and it's the best bass I've ever owned. And I've had some very high-end instruments.
