Up for sale is a Reverend Rumblefish I recently acquired on this board. It had been modded by a previous owner and the original pickups and electronics replaced by an EMG J set. I didn't like the EMGs, so I replaced them with Dimarzio Model
Js and a OPB-1 preamp. It sounds real good now, but the band is broken up for good and I am cleaning house, so it must go. I do not have the original pickups, by the way.
The pre is wired V/V/T/B with a passive/active push-pull pot on Vol 1.
The guy that did the previous work was no artist, but it's not too bad as you can see from the photos, just some discoloration by the jack. Other than that it's all Reverend goodness, small body and super fast neck.
I am asking $750 shipped in the continental US. It will ship well packed in a gig bag. PPal is fine, or postal money order. If you are thinking trades, think amps of equal or greater value. I can add cash if necessary. Not looking for a monster rig, though.
You are not likely to find a better playing, better sounding, or generally cooler bass for this price. If you have any questions or are interested, drop me a PM.
