rickenbacker 4003 jet glow (black)

Have a believed to be 1983 rickenbacker 4003 that I'm looking to trade or sell, I don't know much about this bass has a really good fretless sound when you apply the mutes on it, I don't know if the electronics on it are not working correctly but when you plug into the one jack the pickup position switch only works in 2 positions and the top is muted on not on, in the other jack it works in all three positions, Have a hard shell case, there is the typical dings on the head stock and a ding on the back of the neck around the 3rd and 4th fret
The Jack plate says XB and then has some numbes 0154
Trade bait would be a lakland 55-02 maple neck

Look on the jackplate for 2 letters, that will determine the year/month made. Also, when you plug it in, use the jack closest to the rear strap button for the mono. The other is the Ric-o-sound stereo and will not sound right...
