Rickenbacker Tuxedo (the real thing)

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a 1987 Tuxedo--yes, it is all white....There are 120 of these made and this thing roars. Comes with OHSC and it smokes. These are VERY hard to come by and all of you Rickenbacker guys know this is no joke.

NO TRADES
I am raising money for another purchase so I will not entertain trade offers at this time. PM with questions etc. It is a player and thus will reflect that in the price

2500.00 + shipping insured.

Thanks to mi amigo for fixing me up on the pics...my camera is not working well....

Very nice- good luck with the sale, and I hope it doesn't sting when it goes- and it will go.

Yep, that is the real deal. Even with 120 made, you never see these things up for sale. Wish I was in the market. It's a beauty for sure!

Love it!

But, the one pic where you sighted down the neck.... it looks like there's a counter-clockwise twist.

I've never seen a bass that needed black coated strings as bad as this one does.

The "twist" looks like it might be an optical illusion created by the nut and the angle of the shot. More pics are needed.

+1 and +1 on the black strings.
On the other hand it may very well be an excellent player in spite of that. Beautiful bass

No no no.... I said " looks like" not DEFINITELY.

I'm just looking for clarification, since I've had basses w/ twisted necks, one of which neither I nor the previous owner even noticed during regular playing.
