Ritter Classic 5

I've put this up before and got cold feet before finding a buyer, but this soon-to-be father's feet have been recently warmed.

Its a great bass; extremely dynamic, responsive and punchy with crystal clarity. It plays even better than it sounds. A very comfortable slim D shaped neck that is stable and quick with low action.

Cosmetically and functionally it is in great condition. The only issue is that some of the black is rubbing off the knobs. And I do have the truss rod cover, it just wasn't on when I took the pics.

I'm asking $2800 plus shipping (discount for folks local to the Boston area). I am open to offers, just don't low ball me. I'd rather not do paypal d/t the fees, but I can if there is no other way. And I'd also prefer to not ship internationally. I also have an incase gigbag if anyone is interested to purchase it additionally with the bass. The only partial trades I'm interested in are a bag end 15, a maple/maple jazz neck, infanem faye sing, and a fender '75 RI (or other 4 string, ash body, maple/maple neck jazz).

Specs:

Ritter Classic 5
Grandpa's Larchbalm Natural Finish
Maple Body & 3 Piece Maple Neck (some flame on the body and back of neck)
Ebony fingerboard and pickup covers
Active/Passive w/Knoll 3 band preamp (semi-parametric mids)
Ritter Masterbar pickups (each able to switch between humbucker and single coil)
35" scale
Ritter 3D bridge w/fully adjustable string spacing and width (http://www.ritter-instruments.com/bridge.php)
10 Screw Multi Screw Neck Joint

That's absolutely gorgeous. I love the natural finish. I feel like Ritter basses sometimes look like they are from Jupiter, but this one has a much more earthy look. Beautiful.

Does this mean the price includes a hard case but there is a bag available at an extra cost, or that it comes with no case for the asking price but a bag is available at extra cost?

I'd be worried about neck stability...not enough bolts holding it in place

I spoke to him. He is going to keep it. I was close to a deal when he decided not to sell. If he does put it back on the market ya have to get in line behind me...
