Rob Allen Mouse Lined Fretless

Sign in to disble this ad
If you are reading this you know about this bass and how awesome it is.

It is in fact a 2nd. It has zero effect on anything. This is from an email from Rob Allen if you are concerned:

"The only flaw are the end checks, which sometimes happen in alder when the wood dries too quickly. This isn't always detectable when the wood is in the lumber stage, and occasionally one comes out this way. The cracks have been filled with structural glue, and it will perform no different than a first, and the checks will never open."

$1,525. Comes with ProTec gig bag.
Price includes UPS Ground shipping in the Continental US.

I hear you in the sell department. Was just curious if you'd be interested. 9 pounds on the nose as far as my bathroom scale can determine.

If this were a year ago I would have jumped on it. At this point in my "career" I'm just looking to downsize/downgrade and get something good enough for home and a Sunday or two a month at church.

Had some nice trade offers. If I were going to be gigging I'd have taken any of them. The thing is, I'm taking a break from my bands and live work for a while. I'm looking for a used Geddy Lee or similar quality/price bass to use for twice a month at church and fooling around at home. I think I'm going to try and learn to play guitar a little better, sing along with the kids, etc. Maybe find a whole new "hobby" as well. Who knows.

I am giving this a serious think. I want to sell a '78 fender pbass to fund it, but could move forward without the sale.
