I took this bass on trade because I wanted to try it out.
It really is a remarkable little instrument that plays like a dream. The mouse is a reputation as one of the best Double Bass "emulators" around, and as a DB player, I understand where that comes from. You really can cop that sound, yet the bass is ridiculously easy to play.
The woods are beautiful: Walnut top. Alder body. I am not sure of the FB wood, but it is absolutely beautifully figured.
The bass is in VERY, VERY good condition. The only flaws other than common very light swirling is I see is a series of scratches on the plastic control plate as pictured in the photos.
If I had any venue at all for it, I would likely keep it, but I don't and considering my current financial situation, it probably should go.
