Roscoe LG-2005 $1500

This bass has been around the TB community for a while. It was in need of some TLC when I got it, so I had it professionally refinished with nitrocellulose lacquer, in a nice vintage cherry sunburst. Ash body (I think), maple neck & fingerboard, Wilkinson bridge, EMG pickups. Controls are vol, blend, stacked bass/treble.

The neck is straight and it plays like buttah with a very low action. The frets look like they have been filed recently; there is no visible wear but they are pretty low. I doubt there is room to file them again; the next time significant fret wear occurs it will probably need to be refretted. Probably not an issue unless you are an aggressive slap style player; I just want to be up front about everything.

No sound samples at this time but I can record some if folks are interested. It has the characteristic Roscoe sound, very modern & midrangy.

$1500 shipped in the USA. I don't have much interest in trades at this time, but would consider Acme or Accugroove cabs or a lightweight amp.

It's adjustable. I can measure it tonight and get an idea of the range, but you can see in the photo that at some time previously it was set wider than it is now (from the screw marks), and that there is room to set it narrower (the saddles aren't touching each other).

EDIT: It's currently set at 18mm. It looks like the adjustment range is about 17 - 19 mm.

Weight is approx. 9.1 pounds.

Final price drop & bump before it goes on eBay.
