It has all the signature appointments per the Roscoe website, but was built prior to being called an "official" signature SKB.

Maple wedge neck
Bolivian Rosewood center lamination with Rosita stringers and Maple and Cherry accent laminations

Sweet bass, good luck with it!

I believe that Katalox is a rare bird too.

Yeah, Katalox is rare.
Roscoe doesn't use it any long because it's too hard to get good quality pieces.

I really don't wanna sell it.
We'll see how long I can stand it being up here!! LOL!

Very nice! I used to own 2 Roscoe SKB 3005's. Although I got rid of them for a Smith EG5 I could really appreciate a Roscoe 6.

Good luck with the sale.

Ha! Bob is a great guy. My trade offer still stands. Maybe you should bounce my trade off him.

What would be the difference between the SKB's and LG's? Other than body layout are the sounds fairly similar or is it just body types?

LG has a smaller body than the SKB.
I recall the reason for the pick-ups being slanted to capture a fuller sound due to the smaller body size as well.
A buddy of mine has an LG 5 string. It sounds wonderful.

Ther are so many variables with wood combo's, I would be hard pressed to say the body typ affects the sound a great deal with the design of the LG to the SKB.
