Roscoe SKB-3006 Icon!!

A true tone monster with unbelievably beautiful handmade inlays!

Mahogany body with 5A quilted maple top.
35" scale with 3-piece maple neck and purpleheart streamer.
24-fret ebony fingerboard with highly detailed iconography. From the pics you can see this was a very expensive upgrade!
Bartolini pickups and 9-volt, 3-band preamp.
Includes original semi-hard case.

There is some slight discoloration in the mahogany on the inside of the upper bouts, a little weathering showing on the ebony board, and the bass shows a few nicks and dings from going on tour with the original owner. I'm the second owner and only selling due to bills.

It's a tad heavy at 10 1/2 lbs., but this contributes to the deep, full low end and pristine clarity on the top end. I get a very powerful tone for rock from the front pickup, and an impressive Smith-like tone can be achieved by dialing toward the rear pickup.

$2125. Price includes Ground shipping in the CONUSA.

$2000 shipped.

The '62 Jazz was the "Homewrecker"

Now I'm a bachelor again, but still need to pay for that classic vintage piece!

This particular Roscoe sounds so good. I do lust after it and am very tempted...

But my LEJ6 is being modified and will be home soon. Must resist!!

This is an amazing bass, plus it has cool inlays. Somebody will be very happy with it.

Not yet - I'm a techno-dummy, but I'll see if I can access Garageband thru my interface with any success, and let you know!
