Roscoe SKB 3005
Maple neck w/wenge centre ($150 option)
Spanish cedar body
Myrtle burl top
Macassar ebony fretboard (beautiful - now a $1000 upgrade)
Diamondwood nut
Roscoe/Bartolini pickups
Bartolini NTMB preamp with 3-way mid switch
Ebony knobs (standard black dome knobs available)
Roscoe single or double gigbag

It's in excellent condition but there are minor dings/indentations: namely one near the lower strap button and a tiny mark on the back of the neck. I just want to be clear and up front with these.

List price today would be $5625 with a street price of around $4500. I'm asking $2500 plus any fees/shipping cost.

The only trades I would consider are Roscoe Century or Rob Allen 5 strings (Deep 5 would be awesome but an MB-2 Koa would work too).

Slight flame in the neck wood:

Trying to capture some of the different brown tones in the fingerboard:

Bump to show off one of the nicer touches on this one. A veneer of cherry separating a thinner layer of spanish cedar between the main body piece and the myrtle top. Excuse the poor lighting:

Question

Hey Jeff, what's the 2nd switch for? You state that you have the 3-way mid switch but I don't see where you state what the other switch is for.

thx

Ah yes, it's just a kill switch at the moment that mutes and saves the battery even if it's plugged in.

The bass originally had Nordstrand Dual Coils with a series/parallel switch and an Audere preamp with Z-mode, so I figured I'd utilize the holes. I love the stock Roscoe/Bartolini electronics with the 3-way mids.

Ok. Yeah, that's nice to have. Nice to not have to unplug the cord.

Beautiful bass! It'll make someone very happy.

Thanks for the interest thus far. I don't really care to see this one go but it gets the least use and I want to make room for others...

Nice bass!

I have owned 2 Rosoes with Bart's and cedar bodies. I wouldn't buy another one any other way. Killer combo.

So this bass is still incredible, but GAS is a nasty thing and I want to scratch a few itches. Let's find this bass a new home.
