Sadowksy Metro MS5, VTC, trans white, as new

Sadowksy Metro MS5 with VTC - Translucent White. Includes Sadowsky Ultralight case.

Built in Oct 2009, sent straight to me via the dealer, made to order.

Unfortunate for me, but fortunately for you, this bass has hardly been played. I have probably played it live about 5 times. Totally babied it.

These photos are from 2009 but it is in exactly the same condition, I can see no difference, no tarnish on the tuners, bridge etc. It could pretty much pass as new.

It's light as well. From my "weigh myself, with and without bass on bathroom scales trick", it comes to about 8.5 pounds. I can't guarantee that is the exact weight but it definitely feels light and when it was built, they used the lightest blank they had at that time. I am pretty sure it is around that.

The sadowsky case is not the one that shipped with the bass but it is in very good condition.

$2000 plus shipping from Salt Lake City.

I don't supposed you'd want to trade for a Metro RV5JJ?

I will be using this sale to fund another bass but at this stage it will be a Musicman Sterling 5.

That would be the only trade I would consider for the time being.

Thanks.

I thought I had everything listed about it! You got me there.

It has the standard Humcancelling pickups.

Thought I'd take some current pictures to show it is still as new. Tried to get some close up of the grain under the translucent finish... but hard to do. Bump for a light Sadowsky
