Very light at around 8 ½ lbs. No dents or dings. No scratches other than a couple of those really fine ones in the clearcoat from normal playing that are only visible under direct light. The previous owner must have rested his hand on the bridge as it was slightly tarnished when I got it. I cleaned it with a decent polish and a lot of it came off. I did not use anything more aggressive on it, so I don't know if more will come off or not. It's not that noticeable unless you scrutinize it. Other than that, if the bass were hanging up in a shop it could pass for new.
Neck is straight. Action is low. B string is very focused and natural on this one. Comes with Sadowsky Ultralight case.
Asking $1950 shipped & insured CONUS. (I will not ship this bass out of the USA) PayPal works for me, but I can make other arrangements if needed.
Although I would prefer an outright sale, I would consider the following in a trade deal, +/- $$$ as appropriate:
- Sadowsky 4 String.
- Sadowsky 5 J or P/J.
- Roscoe 5 or 6.
- Modulus 5 or 6.
- Smith 5 or 6.
- Spector USA 4 or 5 bolt-on or lightweight neckthru

Have to admit the movie was a rental, and I do not own any Spice Girls cd's, but their music did cater to a certain market, all the way to the bank! My my bass teacher has taught me that all music has validity, and the way this bass cut through the mix, caught my attention immediately. Every time I get ready to spend over 1,500.00 on a new bass, these basses are nowhere to be found. And as luck would have it, I am enjoying my brand new XOTIC JAZZ, but I have to admit,if this bass had shown up first........This bass would have been mine. Good luck with your sale, as this bass speaks to me just lying in the case. I know this is a fantastic bass!
