This is my pet project that I am kicking around letting go, because I mainly use 4's now. It's unreal and I have well over 3K in her...definitley "one of a kind"!!
Started as a Sadowsky RV5, alder,morado,w/VTC. + ultralight Sadowsky case.
Upgrades below:
Had a custom Nitro Faded Fiesta Red finish with matching headstock.
Converted to a reverse P and MM setup with Nordstrand pick-ups (with new tort custom Gaurd)
Tuners changed to Hipshot 1/2 inch Ultralights.
This bass is a monster and is in excellent condition besides one spot on the bottom front edge of the bass. It received a ding a month after completion. I had it fixed and they tried to match the color, but since it was custom...the spot fixed is a little darker.
That's it. I think a outright sale of $2,500 SHIPPED and Paypal accepted, would work (this is essentially like getting a custom NYC...which is very cheap when you think in those terms).
Trades will be considered, but would need to be high end. Sadowsky (4 or 5's), Fender (vintage), Norstrand, Wal,etc.
If I have to keep her...it won't hurt my feelings at all.
