Thinning the herd some boys. For sale are two of my workhorses. Why am I getting rid of them? Bills, strictly paying bills. I have no grips or qualms about either and both have served me faithfully as P&W church band basses.
First the Sadowsky. I purchased this in 07 from Atlbass here on Talkbass. It is an early CAR Metro that had the VTC installed aftermarket by Sadowsky. Comes with Sadowsky soft shell case. One minor scratch on the back by the neck plate and the case has a slight tear on the upper corner of the outside pocket. No problems with anything on the bass itself except an occasional scratchiness on the input jack. This has been my main player for the last two years and I will be getting another when the economy allows. Asking 1800.00 OBO in US Dollars plus shipping.
The Spector is an 02 NS4CRFM (not EURO) purchased from Bass Central that comes with the Spector hardshell case and has the Aguilar OBP1 preamp. NO cosmetic issues other than faded gold plating on the bridge where I rested my hand when I played. This is not the Blue-Black finish, strictly the Blue finish with an all maple body unlike the Euros. The first Aguilar preamp that came factory installed crapped out and was replaced under warranty other than that I've never had any issues with this bass. Asking $800.00 OBO in US Dollars plus shipping. I will try to figure out how to upload pictures and post some ASAP.

EDIT Both are sold to DiDi G

I've been a lurker here for years and have watched your growth as a luthier. You and I share the Spector and Sadowsky love and this bass with an Aguilar preamp is a great combination that bridges the gap.
Alas, I've gone through my Musicman phase and even owned a Stingray5 for a couple of years, but this is strictly a financial move. I wouldn't be getting rid of either if I really had a choice. So no trades on this, but I appreciate the offer.
