No, the economy is slow and it's Christmas time. It's not the best time to spend $2K on gear for yourself in a whole lot of homes!

I know. I always seem to be selling at the wrong time. I'll just leave it up until it goes. Not like I don't like playing it at church, it's just WAY more than I need right now.

Had some nice trade offers. If I were going to be gigging I'd have taken any of them. The thing is, I'm taking a break from my bands and live work for a while. I'm looking for a used Geddy Lee or similar quality/price bass to use for twice a month at church and fooling around at home. I think I'm going to try and learn to play guitar a little better, sing along with the kids, etc. Maybe find a whole new "hobby" as well. Who knows

I think I'm going to hold out for a sale. Just not sure what I want/need a far as a bass goes right now. My gigging situation is in total disarray right now.

May be wrong color for you, but this is the best color for most people. I love this color

It looks fantastic in person. I, too, wasn't sure if I wanted natural wood, but it is really nice.

Typically, natural basses NEVER appeal to me in photos but, they do in person. Also, every time I have a natural bass I always get a ton of compliments vs. a painted one. It's kinda crazy.

Yep, everyone loves this bass. I had a gig at a hockey game last weekend and I almost had to wipe the drool off it after a break after 2 guys were just amazed by it. I wish I could justify keeping it, but I had a hard time justifying it when I was gigging, sure can't have it around when I'm not gigging any more.

I also think that I am happier on a 4 string. I got this because I convinced myself that the bands I played in needed a 5 string. I really just want a simple 4 string passive jazz.

I'm taking a break. Leader is looking to book more - and later - gigs and I just don't want to do more - and later - gigs.
