SOLD - NYC Sadowsky 24-Fret 5-String Bass Serial number 5138. This bass was built in New York City and sold in September of 2008. The wood used on this bass is incredibly gorgeous. The body is made of Cocobolo on Mahogany, The fingerboard is Ebony with Abalone Face Dots. You can view all the details on Sadowsky's website here ... 5138
... I bought this bass from the original owner. He bought it directly from Sadowsky. It's in MINT condition. Neck is straight, plays great, sounds incredible, no neck dive, only 8.1 lbs. Auction includes the original Sadowsky hardcase that it came with. I contacted Sadowsky and asked how much it would cost to build this bass, they told me $4425 and it would take 10 months to build. You can grab this baby right now!
