HI
Up for sale only is my Sadowsky NYC 5. Solid ash body, clear finish, standard style, diamond control layout, 2 band Sadowsky pre w VTC, maple neck w Birdseye board, black hardware, Sadowsky single coil pickups. I added an allparts allenwrench holder on the back of the headstock. I do this on all my basses(took the pic before I added it). Handsigned my Roger Sadowsky, serial #3956. Older, flatter style neck with the thinner headstock. Feels and plays amazing. I had it serviced in Brooklyn yesterday and had the volume pot replaced with a new 500k pot. Setup is stupid low with new blue label SS, regular gauge strings. No issues, etc. Sounds fantastic. Ive owned many Sadowsky 5's and its one of my two faves of them all. Some player wear but you really cant see it with the clear finish. Neck is perfect, cant really see any fretwear. Im not a big fan of 5 string basses so I only use it when absolutely necessary. Guess why its in such good shape. Weight is 8.4lbs. Comes with your choice of Sadowsky ultra light case or Sadowsky Incase gigbag.
$2750 shipped to CONUS. Wont sell or ship out of CONUS. I accept cash, cashiers check or Paypal Echeck. Got another way to pay, PM me to talk about it. No Trades!! Between my property and losing my main gig on Monday, I need cash quickly. Frankly, Id love to keep it but..... bikeplate@yahoo.com

| | Registered User | | | | Rob was kind enough to let me play this bass a while back. It's all that he says it is and more. Light, well-balanced, and even more of a looker than the pictures suggest. It also has more going on in the midrange than any ash Sadowsky I've ever played.
Wish I could buy it but I'm trying to be good and save for a house.

Thanx all. Hopefully can find some work this week
Not sure what you mean by lines. I think you are just seeing the grain of the body. Its a cool piece of solid ash
