Yes, I am crazy! I am letting this one go. Here is a link to the original listing where I bought it NYC Sadowsky Reverse PJ5 Cherryburst Ash/Maple
The pics there and the description nail it on the head. As noted in the original listing. The bass now has the Nordstrand based Sadowsky pickups in it. And it sounds killer. Ash body with a quilted maple top and maple board. I have some updated photos at the bottom of this listing. They show the reverse P with the parchment guard and standard P with the tort guard. You can also do a jazz pickup if you had another pickguard made.
The bass is in Excellent++ condition. One small mark near the output jack that you have look at very closely to find. Otherwise, the bass is clean. Lightweight, 8.6lbs and plays like butter. It comes with the reverse P parchment guard and standard P tort guard as noted in the pictures below. It comes with the original Sadowsky ultralight case.
$3100 shipped. The only trade I would really consider is a alder/rosewood Sadowsky NYC P/J5. Somebody needs to buy it before I come to my senses!

I actually prefer the reverse P. So, that is how I generally keep it.

It's one of those things you look at and say..."Why didn;t I think of that?" It's really just a larger route in the body. The rest is really all dependent on the pickguard to actually make it look good.

This PJ is tempting though and the price is right. I bet it's a monster.

This won't last long - buy it now!

I have ended up selling every one that I have owned. You would think that I would have learned my lesson by now. But, this one is SOOO nice I could not pass it up!

I can't believe this is still here. IMHO it's got all the tonal choices in a Sadowsky you could ask for.
