Sadowsky NYC PJ5 alder/rosewood

I just took delivery of a new NYC Will Lee 5 so I'm putting my beloved PJ up for sale. I bought this bass new in 2004. Alder body with rosewood board, '59 burst and tort guard, reverse PJ (with universal route) HC pickups, 1 7/8" nut and 19mm string spacing.

No worrisome issues, just some tiny dings as would be expected on a well cared-for bass gigged for 7 years. The original volume pot became scratchy and I replaced it with one from the Sad shop. The pot that Kevin sent me has a longer shaft than the original and I haven't shimmed it under the plate so it's not sitting flush (see pic) - an easy fix.

$2950 shipped and insured in the CONUS. No trade offers, please. PM me for more pics or higher res photos.

I think that Tully is still looking for a PJ5.

Just curious but have you tried your PJ with the P pickup in the standard config?

Thanks. I'm currently PM'ing with Tully.

No, I haven't tried the regular config but I'm very much a fan of the reverse P. The reverse P soloed still nails the P vibe.

I am thinking that I am with you on that thought. And I also am finding that the P soloed really does nail the P vibe. I'm very pleased with the tone.
