Teal Green metallic PJ5 serial number 3917. This bass has been owned by a few peeps around here, and all have/do rave about this particular bass. There is something almost magical about it.
So then why am I selling..?? I'm broke.. and I don't play as much lately. However; if it doesn't sell it won't break my heart.. and who knows.. I may decide to pull the ad if some of my other gear sells soon enough.
There are a couple of tiny dings on the end of the headstock, they were there when I got the bass. Basically though, the bass is 97% flawless. It will come with the Sadowsky case, and THREE pickguards. Two mint guards one for each orientation of the "P" pups, and one tort guard.
$3000.00 shipped in the 48 states. paypal add $50.00.
pics are thumbnailed

I do believe the fretboard is Brazilian Rosewood..

Just massive low-mid thickness, and a thinner than normal Sadowsky Neck that is ultra-playable. That, and you couldn't find a better TB'er to deal with. I'm glad your sellin some stuff off, because your office was startin to look like Tom Bowlus' basement. |

Henry, if I didn't already have a P/J 5, you know I'd be all over it. Someone make this bass a good home!

Of all the basses I own, I KNOW I will regret selling this one. It and my Skjold are the only two basses I've ever played that somehow make me a better player, it just fits me. I'm hoping some of my other stuff sells.. and this one can stay here for a while longer!! However; if it sells.. that's fine too. Someone else will get to play this fantastic bass, and I'll still have my Skjold.

Glad you could keep it. I've had my wife get on me when I was thinking about letting some of my favorites go.
