Sadowsky RS4 for sale

Selling a wicked sounding Sadowsky RS4 bass in very good condition. It has a '59 sunburst finish, Sadowsky hum canceling pickups, rosewood finger board and the Vintage Tone Control option. It has the classic Sadowsky tone and then some. Very little fret wear. It really is a fantastic sounding and playing bass- the reason I'm selling is that I need to put my money into some other gear. Also included is the original Sadowsky Ultra-light case. However, a one inch long section of the zip has sustained damage, so although it can be closed from both sides up to that point, the zippers won't travel all the way around.

I think that you've misconstrued his comment as meaning HE was going to post the pics, where his intent was merely to encourage patience because I hadn't managed to upload them yet (for which I am grateful).
and hello to you in Hamilton. I thought everyone there would surely own an F bass LOL. However, if you'd like to get a killer Metro...

I couldn't figure why one guy in Mass. was telling me in ON to be patient about a bass that's for sale in Man. .... LOL .... And 'NO', not everyone in hamilton plays an F-bass. ..... Though, I do have a beautiful ebony fretless J-bass neck, one George made on special order, on a J-body that's my main electric bass. ..... Geo. does great work, but for electric I'm a Fender man. ..... And I am considering a Sadowsky, maybe even yours. ..... How long have you had it and is it all stock? ..... Alder or Ash body and what's she weight?

The bass weighs 8 lbs 13 oz. Alder body with rosewood board. I am the second owner, and I know the original owner personally- the bass was well treated. I've had it for a couple of months...part of a trade deal for another bass that I had. Moving it because I am playing 5 string pretty much exclusively. Made in Tokyo to Sadowsky specs, like all Metro basses.

last price bump. I'll be withdrawing the bass from the classifieds if it doesn't sell at this price. Too good a bass to give away, even if I do need to move it.

yes, the bass is still available. I have been getting PMs of one sort or another each day since my last post, which is why I have not updated or bumped. But they are all apparently fairly casual inquiries so far save for one or two, who are making up their minds at this time. Let me know if you are seriously interested...as in "I would like to buy the bass" LOL.
