I apologize for the cliche, but never expected to sell this, but some family issues require the funds. I do reserve the right to change my mind though.

2009 Sadowsky Will Lee Prototype:

This was Will's for a while and he used it in the photo shoots for the flyers and promos introducing his signature model.

Click picture to supersize

Identical to production model with the exception of a slightly longer upper horn and recessed straplocks, Hipshot D-tuner, and truss rod & bridge tools mounted on rear of headstock.
Black pickup cover not shown in photos. Also includes custom made ramp (not currently mounted)

FINISH | Black Pearl
BODY | Swamp Ash
FINGERBOARD | Maple, 22 Frets, 12" Radius, 1.45" Nut Width
PICKGUARD | Black Pearl
HARDWARE | Chrome with D-Tuner
PICKUPS | Sadowsky Single Coil
WEIGHT | 8.70 lbs. (3.95 kg)
PREAMP | Sadowsky Preamp with Vintage Tone Control and Mid-Boost Circuit

I never gigged with bass and it's in excellent condition. Has a couple very minor marks that Will was kind enough to leave on the bass. All I could find was a small indentation on rear, one on side near jack, and a couple minor marks on headstock. I tried to make them show up in the photos.
Truly a one of a kind bass. $3550 shipped to lower 48.

Awesome bass! Do you have a picture of the ramp, and was it built by Sadowsky as well?

Thanks Mike

The ramp was made by my local tech. It fits perfectly since it's notched on the bottom for the pickguard.

As far as the case goes - you can have your choice of the Sadowsky Ultralite case / gig bag, or an InCase Slim Bag.
(I don't have a picture of the Slim handy, but they're very similar)
Also comes with the Sadowsky case candy:

Thank you. I'll definitely regret it, but Will still have my old 89 Sadowsky and custom MM Sadowsky.

If I gotta ask it means I don't know. That ever happen to you? Probably not.

Glad I could make your day by making you feel superior. What a freakin' d-bag.

Isn't it easier just to answer the question?

Here's what a ramp is.

Ramps (also known as playing ramps)

The midrange control on the Will Lee model is pretty amazing, especially considering Roger didn't offer a midrange option on his preamp for 25 years and only offers it on this bass.

Here are a few reviews of the signature model:
